Boris is a beaver and a hidden main antagonist in the video game Over the Hedge: Hammy Goes Nuts!. At first, he is trapped inside a cage (depending on the version of the game) and it can be released by Hammy (GBA or DS version) or by RJ (PSP version). He will thank the chosen character and this little by little gains the trust of others, but at the same time, he is manipulating the main characters until the player has to face him.

Appearance[]

Boris is a beaver with a buck tooth, fat buddy, long tail, one eyebrow and a utility belt around his waist, short legs and a bit of long arms.

Personality[]

At first glance, Boris seems friendly. However, he is actually deceptive and a manipulator, who uses Hammy's naivety and RJ's ability to steal from others for personal gain. But he in the end of the game, he apologizes to them and goes to another place.

Role[]

While destroying the satellite dish, RJ finds Boris locked in a cage inside a human's basement. After he is freed, he befriends Hammy and tells him where to find food and adventure. In actuality, Boris does this to manipulate Hammy into raiding the humans' houses in order to get the materials he needs to build a dam. Eventually, he gets everything he needs and builds it. However, the dam is so big, it floods the forest and the neighborhood. The animals must then navigate through his massive dam and confront Boris. After his defeat, he leaves an apology letter and a the satellite dish they destroyed at beginning, now repaired.
