The animals hide in the hedge from Gladys, Vincent and Dwayne LaFontant. RJ and Verne had an idea to get Hammy drink a can of caffiene that will make him move faster than the speed of lighter, so he can activate the Depelter Turbo.
Scene 14/Hammy Time[]
[the animals groan in pain]
Penny: Is everybody alright?
[an unconscious Dwayne woke up, and the animals quickly hops out of the van]
Dwayne LaFontant: Ow! The Old Jazz Dance Injury.
Lou: Come on, come on, Quillo!
RJ: Go, go, go! [RJ holds up the cat door for his friends to run through. The Animals ran through the hedge]
Heather: Did we make it? All right!
RJ: Lou? Penny? The Kids here? [sees Hammy shaking in fear] Hammy?
Hammy: Scary Clown!
[The Animals yelp in horror. It's Vincent, who is landing on the balloon. He pops the jester ballon with a quill, and begin to attack]
RJ: Look out!
[The animals back through the hedge to the backyard, but they saw Dwayne who is using the cattleprod. He chuckles, Gladys kicks the door and use the weedhacker to attack]
Hammy: A weedhacker, Verne! A weedhacker!
[The animals ran inside the hedge to hide]
Gladys Sharp: [cutting the hedge with the weedhacker] Show your rotten little faces! You filthy creature! Stay in the woods where you belong!
Heather: Look out!
[Dwayne zaps Vincent with the cattleprod, chuckling. He gets slapped by Vincent]
Dwayne LaFontant: You guys wanna party, do you? All right then! Let's Party! [zaps the hedge]
Triplets: MOM!
Lou: Kids! [he and Penny holds the triplets]
RJ: Penny! Lou! Look Out! Down! [to Verne] That's it! Verne, get everybody outta here! I'll distract him!
Verne: Are you crazy? He'll kill you!
RJ: I'm the one what he wants! Take care of your family, Verne!
Verne: I attent too! The whole family. There's gotta be something we can do.
RJ: There's no time! [the fireflies fly on top RJ's and Verne's head and lights up lightbulbs. They have an Idea]
RJ/Verne: Hammy! [they look at Hammy, who looks at them whimpering. RJ takes out Mack 6, a can of caffiene]
RJ: [pops out of the hedge] Hey, Vincent! You were right! With Spuddies, enough just isn't enough! [eats a Spuddies]
Vincent: RJ!!! [furiously jumps at RJ]
Ozzie : [as Hammy drinks caffiene] Now, Hammy! Go! Go! [slower] Go!
[Hammy twitching and babbling as he goes overdrive, the world stops. He sees his friends freeze and walks out of the hedge. While strolling calmly in the backyard, he also sees Dwayne and Gladys freeze. Hammy turns on the traps, and then smells a cookie which its been on the roof]
Hammy: [humming] I got the cookie.
[He ate the cookie, while dodging the red lights. As he walks pass Dwayne, he thought an idea. Hammy pushed a garden gnome next to Dwayne's foot. It is revealed RJ is wearing Verne's shell in Vincent's mouth. Hammy walks back into the hedge and the world resumes. Verne, who is naked, pulling RJ with a fishing pole out of Vincent's mouth. Vincent flies in the backyard and lands on Dwayne and Gladys. The red lights go off, bleeping. The Depelter Turbo begins to activate]
Gladys Sharp: That's the...
Dwayne LaFontant: The Depelter Turbo! Prepare for lot of stinging!
[the Animals put their glasses on. They see a big light zapping in the backyard, as Dwayne and Gladys yelping in pain. The beam shoots out into space and destroys the Satellite. The beam glows out of Milky Way. The Porcupine Triplets roasts Marshmallows out of the light. RJ and Verne eat some microwave popcorn as they watch. As the beam turns off, the animals took off their glasses and see the bad guys trapped in a cage, badly hurt. The animals cheered]
RJ: Come here, Hammy. Come here. [pats Hammy on the head] You are a genius, my boy.
Hammy: Oh, thank... [burps] YOOOUUU!!! [Hammy flies off, leaving purple belch in the air. Verne fans the belch with his hand]
RJ: And Verne, don't you ever fix his shell.
Verne: Yeah, glad its working for ya. Take it off and give it back.
[Meanwhile, Vincent who is badly hurt, being dragged to the animal rescue truck by the Rangers]
Ranger: In you go. Off to the Rockies for you, Smokey!
Police Officer: [arresting Gladys and Dwayne] Now you do realize that was the Depelter Turbo.
Gladys Sharp: Officer, please. It was that Verminator! He sold it me. This has nothing to do with me!
Police Officer: Hey, hey! It was in your yard, your name's on the contract, so you can tell at the Judge.
Gladys Sharp: NO! It's not my fault! Let go of me!
Police Officer: Mam...
Gladys Sharp: I can't be arrested! I'm the President of the Homeowners of Assoication! [tries to run, but the police tackles her]
Dwayne LaFontant: She's getting away. [quietly] Get her.
[As Gladys attacks the Police, Dwayne escapes by jumping into the fence. The squeaky toy sound is heard]
Nugent: [voice-over] Play?
Dwayne LaFontant: Oh no! No no! No no! [the dog bites Dwayne, screams in pain]
